About Hamsters

Hamsters are small, nocturnal rodents known for their chubby cheeks, playful nature, and independent behavior. They are low-maintenance pets, making them popular among first-time pet owners.

There are various breeds, including Syrian, Dwarf, Roborovski, and Chinese hamsters, each with unique traits. They typically live 2–3 years and need a spacious cage, exercise wheel, bedding, and a diet of pellets, seeds, and vegetables.

Hamsters are mostly solitary, except for some dwarf species, and communicate through squeaks, scent marking, and body language. Their burrowing and playful instincts make them entertaining companions.
