The Teddy Roosevelt Terrier is a lively, low-set American breed, developed for ratting and farm work, and named in honor of President Theodore Roosevelt. With their muscular build, big personality, and natural work ethic, these dogs are excellent for both active homes and country living.
Their short, dense coat is easy to care for, with moderate shedding, especially in spring and fall. These terriers are intelligent, trainable, and affectionate, often excelling in agility, obedience, and interactive games. They enjoy being around people, and while they’re good watchdogs, they’re also known for being more even-tempered than some other terriers.
